OUR PROCESS
It all starts with a dream and a plan to get there!
That is where we come in!
1. We receive an email or phone call from you. You explain your project, time line, and any information you can share to help us understand your needs.
2. If it is a project we feel is a good fit for us, we will schedule an on-site visit to your home or contractor's office. We usually capture your excitement and contribute nuggets of wisdom to get you on the right path.
3. After our initial consultation, we go back to our studio and compile an estimate of the scope of work and assign design hours to it. We then email that scope of work for you to review.
4. We ask for a percentage of the design time estimate to get started. That deposit serves as a binder and gives us permission to work with you. We both sign our contract and then we get to work!
5. After we compile the first phase of the design outlined in the estimate, we will schedule a time to present our goodies. That is the fun part! We use an online portfolio system and once we show you the samples in person, we then share the online boards with you. This system allows us to communicate our thoughts back and forth, you can see product prices, floor plans, elevations and 3D renderings when the project requires it.
6. Once the design is signed off, we place orders, work with contractors, vendors, anyone involved in bringing the dream to life. That in and of itself is such a relief. We are conductors of the orchestra and excel at bringing harmony to the project.

- How do you communicate?

1. We like an initial email or phone call from you to get to know you better.
2. We like to meet you in person where the work will be taking place.
3. Once we are under contract, we have a design portal you can sign into and see your project selections and estimates.
4. We email all estimates and invoices that typically have a photo with each selection so you know exactly what we are ordering.
5. We prefer emails to texts because there is much to communicate in a project.
- What payment options do you accept?

We prefer checks for initial consultations and design binders. Once we get rocking and rolling, sometimes our clients like to do bank transfers to keep things clicking along.
- How long does a typical project take?
-
No project is typical. We have handled small bathroom remodels that took about 8 weeks to large new construction projects that took 2 years. The good news is that we try to have everyone lined up before we start ripping and tearing things out and that means we will have a good sense of the time line. We communicate weekly with all of our clients to let them know where we are in their project.
